Since 1976, South Chicago Parents and Friends, Inc. has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and to providing support and solutions for those who love and care for them. We do this by developing options and creating opportunities that enable our consumers to learn to the best of their abilities, to live productively, to work in rewarding jobs, and to value themselves and their roles in society.
When you donate to us, you make a valuable contribution to the quality of life for our consumers and their families in the following areas:
Family services, including home-based support, facilitation of services, and intake support
Community living services, like our CILA houses (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) and family home or independent living arrangements
Day and job services, such as Community Day Programs and supported employment
